Peugeot is trying to bring the audience in the 207 range with a new version of the model, named the Special Edition, which comes to replace the Milessim 200, introduced to celebrate the 200 anniversary of the old French car manufacturer.

At the exterior the Special edition bring custom colors for the mirror housing, the roof post and the rear side. Inside, the red, carbon and aluminum shades can be ordered to customize the ventilation openings.

The special edition will be available with petrol engines of 1.4 liters and 75 HP and 1.4 liters VTi with 85 HP and diesels engines with 1.4 liters HDi and 70 HP and 1.6 liters HDi and 93 HP.

The list of options include six airbags, ESP, alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, fog lights, a special outer package, Bluetooth connectivity, MP3 audio system, steering wheel and of course USB. Besides these, Peugeot will offer an Nokia X6 with 8G, with mounting bracket and a pack of maps for navigation.

The French from Peugeot presented at a Paris Auto Show a special edition of RCZ called Asphalt. Peugeot will produce only 500 units worldwide of RCZ Asphalt, making this special edition a model for the fans of the French car manufacturer. Unfortunately for the Peugeot fans that awaited outstanding performances  from this model, the RCZ Asphalt will be powered by an 1.6 THP engine with 200 HP.

The RCZ Asphalt characteristic elements are the matte black paint and the 19 inch alloy wheels with Continental tires.  Inside, the seats are marked with the name of Asphalt model and the profile is equipped with several badges where the name of the model is written.

The model specifications are not public yet, and its availability in the US was not announced either. It is probable that most of the units of the Peugeot RCZ Asphalt Edition will be sold in France.
