The French from Peugeot have operated a facelift for the 308 range. The new look of the 308 line will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, but the first images of the model have been unveiled by the French car manufacturer. Both the 308 hatchback and the SW and CC versions have been affected in the same way by the facelift. More specifically, the French gave up the famous “smile” which debuted a few years ago on the model 407 and have replaced him with a look inspired by the concept 5 by Peugeot and the newest model in the range, the 508.

Peugeot 308 has received a set new lights with LED, a completely changed front grille, new lamp units, a modified hood, and a redesigned front bumper. The result is a reduction of 25 kilograms of the front of the model. The back has not suffered any change, which is a slight disappointment in comparison with the fresh look of the front of the model. The Peugeot officials sad the aerodynamic of the 308 model has been improved thanks to these changes.

Peugeot has created an ecological version of the 308, receiving an e-HDi microhybrid system. This Peugeot 308 eco version is equipped with a 1.6 HDi 110 bhp engine, with an stop-start system and a battery regeneration system. The Peugeot 308 eco version CO2 emissions are now 98 grams per kilometer, and will be equipped with low rolling resistance tires. All versions of the 308 facelift have air conditioning, ESP and electric windows.
